Crew Vacancies

Aberdeen Lifeboat Crew are not recruiting new crew members at present, however, we are always interested to hear from anyone with an interest in joining the crew during our next recruitment period.

In order to join the crew, you must be at least 17 years old, medically fit and have excellent eyesight.

It is also essential that you have your own transport and you both live and work within 5 miles of the station.

You must be 110% committed to being a crewmember, as we are regularly called out from our beds, places of work and our families at anytime of the day or night throughout the year.

You will also be expected to attend weekly exercises and undertake further training, if applicable, both on station and at the Lifeboat College in Poole, Dorset.

In return for your commitment, you will be rewarded with one of the most exciting and fulfilling voluntary jobs available.
